The event was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasising its importance. Organised by a coalition of textile councils, this four-day extravaganza functioned as a springboard for projects that supported innovation and sustainability. The items of over 3,500 exhibitors were on display, drawing in buyers and tourists from all around the world. The complete textile value chain was highlighted by the “5F Vision” theme, which goes from farm to fibre, fibre to factory, factory to fashion, and fashion to foreign. With its focus on investment, trade, and sustainability, Bharat Tex 2024 effectively established India as a major player in the global textile industry.
